We stand for the celebration of extraordinary commercial interior designers and excellence in design at the intersection of passion and strategy.

Serve all members, including those located beyond the Twin Cities, who serve firms rather than work at firms, and in senior positions.

If you are an interior designer and have passed the NCIDQ exam, you qualify as an IIDA Professional Member.
By becoming a member of the IIDA Northland Chapter, you'll have access to resources that will help to develop your professional career, connect with the Northland community, and support the goal of elevating the profession of interior design to that of licensure.
If you are an interior designer with a minimum of two years formal interior design education, and are not NCIDQ-certified, you qualify as an IIDA Associate Member.
For over 20 years IIDA Members have advanced the quality of life for their clients and the public by creating interior spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional, safe, and building code compliant - from state-of-the-art cancer treatment facilities to sustainable renovations of multi-story condominium complexes.
Whether you would like to get involved in a local election, join an interior design state legislative committee, or advance the knowledge of your clients and the public, IIDA Advocacy provides you the tools you need to leave a lasting impact on the policy process.
