Services
Designing your dream kitchen or bathroom is a time of reinvention - not just for your home, but also for you and your family.
With over 25 years of interior design experience, I help homeowners bring their vision to life by creating spaces that reflect who they are and how they really live.
From space planning to selecting cabinets, tile and other finishes, my goal is to turn the daunting task of renovation into a fun and fulfilling journey that makes you happy.
And with my extensive background in green design, my interiors make the planet happy, too.
Cooking and eating in our renovated kitchen is a pleasure!
Friends and family agree.
We owe a great deal to Tracey's design, her unerring eye for color, texture, shape, and light, and her skill in solving problems as they arise, often one step ahead of them.
The world begins at a kitchen table.
No matter what, we must eat to live.
The gifts of earth are brought and prepared, set on the table - so it has been since creation, and it will go on.
We chase chickens or dogs away from it.
Babies teethe at the corners.
Tracey Stephens was a pleasure to work with.
She was thoughtful, responsive, prepared and very creative.
She asked us to prioritize our needs and given that information figured out how to satisfy those desires.
The project was to renovate two adjacent bathrooms and the spaces were tight between the two of them.
She was able to make both bathrooms seem much bigger and more efficient by using her space planning expertise.
She has a great eye for color and texture, putting them together in a peaceful harmony.
I highly recommend Tracey for any kitchen or bath project.
She has a particular flair for creating stylish updated looks for older homes.
We had a challenging situation fitting a powder room into our kitchen layout but she made it feel open and spacious.
I appreciate Tracey's commitment to creative excellence and originality.
She produced thoughtful designs that blend form and function very well.
The powder room (aka half bath, small bath or guest bath) is the smallest room in the house, very little time is spent in it, and is usually the only bathroom seen by guests.
The smaller kitchen was converted into a nicely sized laundry room (8' x 10').
Planning ahead for aging in place, the front loading washer and dryer are installed on top of 15 high pedestal drawers to reduce leaning over.
Since the top of the machines are raised up to 55 they are too high to use for folding so we didn't add a counter on top.
On the opposite side of the room there is a shallow folding surface.
Shaker style cabinetry stores tools, cleaning and gardening supplies.
The wood-look porcelain floor tile is installed throughout the entire apartment (1800 square feet).
