Melanie is one of the East Coast's emerging real estate designers with over 10 years of experience in architectural interior design, brand strategy, investing and most recently real estate development. She has a deep understanding for the island of Nantucket's unique history, neighborhoods, architecture and community. Melanie moved full-time to Nantucket from Washington, DC to establish her design and property development business in coastal New England, where her lifelong love for real estate began.
Before practicing design professionally, Melanie spent five years working in finance and strategic management consulting, where she gained investment management experience for clients with real estate assets. She witnessed the value that beautiful, smart design and branded marketing play in the success of real estate sales and rentals. Melanie attended the National Cathedral School in Washington, DC and graduated from Cornell University in 2009 with a BS in Interior Design and Business Strategy.
