After weeks of planning, painting, and preparing, the final step in the decorating process arrived - installation day.
With great anticipation and excitement, my husband and I left the house in the capable and talented hands of our designer.
Several hours later we received the call to return home.
When we walked through the front door into the foyer, the vista into our living room and dining room had gone through an unbelievable transformation.
At any minute we expected the cameras to start rolling for an episode on HGTV as we stood oohing and ahing in the doorway.
