We worked with an architectural firm and developer on this project. We removed the back of the house and added a three story addition along with a pilot house and roof deck to optimize the living space in this center city home. The home owners wanted to take down the wall between their crammed kitchen and dinning room. So we removed the wall and added an island, opening up the space to connect the kitchen to the rest of the house.
The budget was tight on this renovation, but the budget was was well spent on the right expenses. For example, cement tile is gorgeous but expensive, so we just used a small amount in one area of the kitchen in impactful way.
