Thank you for your interest in our work. We are based in Stonington, Connecticut and travel for interesting and challenging projects. Whenever we embark on a new assignment, we always follow a phased approach. We begin our process by getting to know you. We define your goals and objectives and what you are looking to achieve. We discuss your budget, priorities and timeline.

We provide a detailed estimate for the scope of work and an implementation timeline based on your needs. We provide multiple concepts for the initial design presentation. Concepts may include drawings, general notes and specifications. For projects that include interior services, a digital mood board and samples can be included. Once you've narrowed your direction to one concept, we fully develop our creative and make subsequent presentations based on your input.

Once you've approved the creative, we finalize the deliverables. During this phase, additional meetings and calls are scheduled as required. If you are purchasing furnishings or services such as printing through us, we will obtain quotes and submit our pricing on individual items as decisions are made.

The Bucklette is the brainchild of DLP's founder Sandra Alexander.
Her aha moment came after a friend's purse was stolen at a restaurant.
It was designed as a hands-free, worry-free alternative to a purse.
This unique fashion accessory is made just for essentials (lipstick, key, credit card and ID) and available as a buckle with a belt or a clip-on, no belt needed.
Alexander designed many prototypes before the final version was produced by a contract manufacturer in the United States.
She handled all aspects of the product's startup including legal, manufacturing, sales and distribution.
After the success of the Bucklette, we wanted to expand our product offering.
We curated a line of jewelry and created a unique line of snakeskin and leather cuff bracelets by hand, marketed under the Dessa Lea brand.
Alexander developed the 360 brand experience which included the logo and stationery, photography, e-commerce website, product catalogs, direct mail, e-blasts/newsletters, event strategies and execution, original content for cross promotion on social media and wholesale print collateral.
After months of trying to figure out a name for her studio, Alexander's client came to her with the challenge.
In three days, she had the name: Fit Fire Studios.
Alexander then created the logo and stationery.
In addition to the color palette and furniture selection, Alexander designed the entry with a custom reception desk, accents for the Studio doors, a 6' wide kitchen, and a storage system that ran the length of the hallway.
The visual identity for Kiss and Makeup, a makeup and beauty boutique in the heart of a quaint town, was designed to evoke a luxe and sophisticated vibe.
When the store moved from a 500 sq.
Alexander utilized Kiss and Makeup's interns to execute a Fall event, intended to drive brand awareness and generate sales.
Working with a modest budget, Alexander and team created promotional flyers, installed a fall woodland window display, merchandised the store, developed a comprehensive social media campaign and launched a customer loyalty program.
Child Psychologist Dr. Margot Burke came to us with a dilemma - she was branching out into private practice, planning for future growth and needed a plan.
We devised a brand and marketing strategy; developed an identity, stationery package and print collateral; and provided marketing tactics that included phone, video and social media outreach.
