Casa Decor made its US debut in late 2006, traveling from Europe to Miami's shores accompanied by an exhilarating fanfare. Visitors entered the showhouse through Jeffrey Thrasher's enchanted garden, which flowed through the Mediterranean building's porte-cochere with lush charm. When Jeffrey Thrasher's client moved from a Coconut Grove home to a hip condominium in the ICON South Beach, he paid homage to the building's ultramodern flair, creating a home befitting the building's superior declaration.

In the book Inspired High-End Interior Design (Schiffer), author Shane Reilly wrote of this home in the Murano Portofino, which was designed by Jeffrey Thrasher, Thrasher created a space that upon entry your sense of sight is heightened. He employed rich, saturated colors, bold curvy pieces, and alluring art. Move out and have the designer do a re-do, of course!

To describe the broad range of Jeffrey Thrasher's stylistic tendencies, Interior Design Magazine states: he works "in an easy, modern vein - but sometimes the Kentucky native's instincts tug him in the opposite direction."
Regardless of the style or period, the designer is a purist, which is why his repertoire is so expansive.
Thrasher is such a natural at interior design that he never considered any other career.
He was studying vintage furniture and antiques by the time he was fourteen years old, and after receiving his degree from the University of Kentucky, he moved to Florida in 1981 and worked at the Richard Plumer Company.
If anyone knows Miami style, it's Jeffrey Thrasher, who has helped his clients - and in this case, himself - create surroundings that are as at home on the sandy shores of this design-savvy city as the sun and the sea.
Miami Style presents the designer's condominium on Miami Beach as an exemplary representation of beachside bravado.
