Owner of By Necessity Interior Design, Alice Karlstad grew up in the Chicago metropolitan area and later lived in the beautiful and historic town of Wellesley, Massachusetts in the greater Boston area before making her home in Knoxville, Tennessee for the last twenty-plus years.
She has over seventeen years of professional interior design experience.
Alice's creativity has been shown in nationwide interior design magazines and most recently was a contributing interior designer to the 2009 Parade of Homes (WindRiver).
